As leaders, especially in the Lord's Church, we can sometimes be so heavenly focused that we forget our humanity. 

It takes love and kindness as well as truthfulness to lead God's people. 

Humanity is filled with life's issues and those who are experiencing these issues need someone to talk with, pray with, and receive the love of Christ. 

This writing is a reminder that we are not of the world, but we are in the world. Being in the world means we must be able to reach the lost and help set the captives free.
